Earthquake Protection and Seismic Isolation Systems
ERSE has been working about Earthquake and Seicmic Engineering, which is an important engineering problem in Turkey. Today, Erse has completed all studies and investments about seicmic isolation and refurbishment of existing buildings. Our system can design and apply all kinds of “seismic isolation” systems. As an example ERSE has completed the “Antalya Airport international Terminal building” Seicmic Isolation and Earthquake rehabilitation project which is for the time being is the biggest project in Turkey and between the first 5 in the world. In this project 411 columns has been cut and led rubber bearing were installed which are produced by ALGA Spa.(Italy). 173 curtain walls has been cut from the bottom and sliding bearings were installed which are produced by Arsan Kauçuk A.S.(Turkey). To facilitate full response all electromechanics system have been isolated.
